Glen Garioch 12 Year Old
Here’s your chance to win a bottle of Glen Garioch 12 Year Old, a rich and full-flavoured Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky bottled at an impressive 48% ABV.
Produced at the historic Glen Garioch Distillery in Oldmeldrum, Aberdeenshire, this 12-year-old single malt is matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks. The result is a characterful Highland whisky with plenty of fruit, malt sweetness and oak.
About Glen Garioch 12 Year Old
Glen Garioch 12 Year Old is a traditional Highland single malt with a stronger bottling strength than many standard age-statement whiskies. At 48% ABV, it offers plenty of body and flavour while retaining the fruit-driven character associated with the distillery.
The bourbon and sherry cask maturation brings together layers of sweet malt, ripe fruit and gentle spice. Expect aromas of pear, heather and malted barley, followed by flavours of crème brûlée, ripe banana, orchard fruit and oak.
The higher bottling strength helps give the whisky a rich mouthfeel and a longer, warming finish, making it an excellent bottle for anyone who enjoys classic Highland single malt.
