About Bunnahabhain Stiùireadair
Bunnahabhain Stiùireadair is a non-age-statement Islay single malt created from a carefully selected combination of casks, with an emphasis on sherry maturation. The result is a whisky that brings together dried fruit, caramel sweetness, gentle spice and the distinctive coastal character for which Bunnahabhain is known.
On the nose, expect inviting notes of dried fruit, caramel, sea salt and soft spice. The palate develops with flavours of raisins, nuts, creamy malt, dark fruit and warming oak, followed by a smooth and gently maritime finish.
Bottled at 46.3% ABV, this whisky has plenty of body and flavour while remaining approachable. It makes an excellent choice for anyone who enjoys rich sherry-influenced whisky or wants to explore a different side of Islay beyond heavily smoky and medicinal styles.
