Matured in American Ex-Bourbon Casks

Chinnery is slowly matured in American ex-bourbon casks, developing a smooth balance of creamy sweetness, fruit, nuts and gentle oak spice. Created in tribute to George Chinnery, the 19th-century English artist known for depicting life and culture in the East, it offers a modern Chinese interpretation of blended whisky.

Rich and Layered Tasting Experience

  • Nose: Creamy malt sweetness with honey, hazelnut, apple and toffee.
  • Palate: Round and nutty, with soft oak, malt, honey and gentle baking spices wrapped in a smooth, creamy texture.
  • Finish: Slightly smoky, with lingering sweet oak and a pleasant, gentle warmth.

Overall, Chinnery Chinese Whisky delivers an approachable combination of sweetness, nuttiness and subtle spice, making it an intriguing choice for whisky drinkers interested in exploring spirits from beyond the traditional whisky-producing regions.

A Modern Chinese Blended Whisky

Produced in Hunan province, Chinnery brings together sweet maize-based grain whisky and locally produced, non-peated malt whisky. Bottled at 40% ABV, it can be enjoyed neat, over ice or in a whisky cocktail.
